Mark Conyers, Senior Pastor
Mark is a native of Missouri. He is a graduate of Northwest Missouri State University with a degree in Elementary Education. Mark also graduated from Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary with a M Div. He is married to Debbie and they have two sons, Seth and Joel. Mark and Debbie have 3 grandchildren. Mark has pastored several places in Missouri. Mark has Joshua 1:7 as a life verse.
Dan Mefford, Associate Pastor
Dan was Licensed and Ordained by Temple Baptist Church at Box Elder, South Dakota in 1981 and 1984 respectively. He holds a BA degree from Ouachita Baptist University and an M Div from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. Dan has served as an Interim Pastor, Associate Pastor, a Senior Adult Minister and Administrator during his Ministry.
Dan's primary responsibilities at First Baptist are as Administrator. He also provides leadership in worship services as needed and as assists with various ministries and committees within the church. He has long term experience in pastoral care, preaching, teaching and general pastoral counseling.
Dan is married to Stephanie (our Senior Adult and Awana Leader) and is the proud father of a wonderful daughter, Dana. He also serves as a Chaplain with Heartland Regional Medical Center in St. Joseph, Missouri where he has been since 1990. He has been a member of First Baptist since 1994 and has been on staff since June, 2000.
The only thing Dan enjoys more than working for Jesus and being with family are his beloved Green Bay Packers! Go, Pack, go!

Juston Davidson, Youth Pastor
Juston grew up in Owensville, MO where he came to Christ as a result of the student ministry of First Baptist Church and the mentoring of his long term friend, Tom Denton. He accepted the call into ministry in High School and attended Southwest Baptist University. He worked in student life to minister to college students.
Juston came to Savannah in June of 2009 and in July of the same year he married his wife Amanda. Juston seeks to develop students in such a way as to help them understand what they believe rather than what they "borrow" from others.
Juston loves movies, cooking anything, Mexican food, video games, David Crowder, and most of all, his beautiful wife. His favorite scripture is Isaiah 40:8 and his most challenging scripture is John 21:15-17.

Stephanie Mefford, Senior Adult Minister and Awana Commander
Stephanie is serving part-time on staff out of a commitment to Christ and Christian service she made while in High School. She acknowledges that all she has comes from the Lord and whatever gifts and talents He has given her should be used for His honor and glory. This is her goal, though she may falter and fall short of His glory, she knows His grace is sufficient for all her needs.
Stephanie was licensed to the Gospel Ministry by First Baptist Church – Savannah, shortly after joining the staff in June 2000. She earned a Master of Divinity degree at Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky.
Stephanie enjoys working with all of the individuals who make the Senior Adult and Awana ministries run so smoothly. Partnering with so many volunteers is what makes ministry successful.
Stephanie and Dan met while studying in seminary and after sixteen years of marriage, their union was blessed with a beautiful daughter, Dana, who adds immensely to their ministry at this church.

Mickey Miller, Minister of Music
Mickey was ordained into the Deacon Ministry by First Baptist Church, St. Joseph, MO on September 11, 1983 and was licensed to the Gospel Ministry on August 15, 1985 by that same congregation. He has served churches in Missouri mostly as music minister, but also as Senior Adult Coordinator, Sunday School teacher and worked closely on, and with numerous committees. He attended College of the Ozarks, Missouri Western State University and Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. The Psalms feed his passion for music and worship.."all that God asks is that we give the best that we have." Mickey has served as Music Minister/Choir Director at FBC, Savannah since August 2008.
Meredith McDonald, Accompanist
"My name is Meredith McDonald. I have a Bachelor's Degree from MWSU and a Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education from NWMSU. I have taught elementary school for over 20 years. My husband and I have one son. I am the piano accompanist here at First Baptist Church and work with the choir director to lead worship. My purpose of playing is to help people to worship and hope they can be blessed by music and song. "
